To successfully complete this Advanced Diploma Civil Construction, you should have

• 5+ years of experience in managing and civil construction
• have experience in directing multiple projects
• have access to a workplace where you are able to manage multiple complex projects from investigation to close-out
• have good communication skills
• have access to email and internet
• Access to a workplace where you can do practical workplace projects e.g. Run meetings, make improvements, access and review plans and systems – civil, environment, risk, quality...
• Motivation and a strong reason to complete and gain your qualification...

How many units/subjects do I need to complete?
All 15 units must be completed to gain this dual qualification.

How long does it take to complete?
6 weeks – 18 months depending upon your previous experience and how much time you can allocate to completing your qualification. All the resources and assessments are available to you 24/7, so you can get in and complete as fast as you want.

Step 1 – Recognize your Experience (RPL) Have your work experience credited towards this qualification. Through a simple, friendly process, you may find that you can provide work samples and shorten the number of units that you have to complete.

Can my previous studies be used towards this qualification?
If you have recently completed studies at any Advanced Diploma level, (within the last 5 years approx) then we may be able to use some of the units that you studied as part of this qualification. You will need to send us a copy of your results showing the units studied – include this with your enrolment form. If in doubt, send it anyway and we will check. Any studies that we cannot straight credited towards this qualification, may be used for Recognition of Prior Learning, to support your understanding of the topic.
